2. Develop a healthier mindset toward writing.

I don't know who needs to hear this but students, specially in 1st and 2nd year writing-intensive courses, benefit IMMENSELY from those "awkward" (for the instructor) class sessions where they get a whole period to workshop & edit their papers and instructors are just resources.
