@bryce9a @ScotlandSky That's what I don't get - there are covering defenders if he was trying to run more steps towards goal. But he's actually pulling the trigger there - that's the goalscoring opporunity, and like you say no-one is in a position to block that shot.

@johnwalker_1986 I hear some people say the forwards don't make good runs to encourage passes, and some say the service to the forwards is rubbish. Would like to see comparison of different forwards runs to see what they each offer. I'm sure there will be at least one sub in that position.

@ibroxrocks There's zero movement ahead of the ball. Plus we're doing that thing where the auto response to receving a pass is to pass it back. Where's the communication telling the player he's got room to turn or whatever. I realise it'll take time to gel, but this is turgid stuff so far
