Rolling Stone Magazine: ''Prince is an average guitar player.'' Prince: "Hold my beer...''
George Harrison poured his heart into writing it.
Eric Clapton gave it that unforgettable solo.
And then Prince stepped up and played it like the song was his own soul crying through the guitar.

It always amazes me how much warmth and admiration Scots have for Gerry Rafferty and his music. So here's something a wee bit different to wake you up on a Sunday morning ... a tribute with a little bit of that Rafferty magic. 🎶🎷🎸🏴💙
This is Dr Tamara Ali, a young doctor in Scotland who has just joined Twitter (@drtamara_ali she has all of 3 followers). She is facing discrimination and harassment simply for keeping a tiny Palestine flag in a plant pot by her desk.
An anonymous patient complaint described the flag as “terrorism.” Instead of protecting her, NHS Education for Scotland and her GP practice treated this racist framing as valid. Four senior doctors confronted her, even comparing the Palestine flag to Nazi and MAGA symbols. She was told rainbow lanyards or Ukraine flags were fine—but Palestine solidarity was not.
The result? She has been isolated, intimidated, and warned that escalating her case could threaten her career. All for quietly showing support for a people facing genocide.
Dr Ali has taken the brave step of launching a legal challenge against this treatment, not just for herself but for every healthcare worker who wants to stand up for justice without fear of retaliation.
Please follow @drtamara_ali, share her story, and stand with her. The idea that a small flag in a plant pot could be treated as “terrorism” shows how far institutions will go to silence voices for Palestine. She deserves support, solidarity, and protection—not punishment.
