New Phase begins!!
Finding a research topic is so damn tiring! Afterall we r so new to this field #anaesthesia and getting time constraints for synopsis submission and all is exhausting!!!
When I took #Anaesthesia lot of people told me patient recognition will be lost forever! I am just in 50 days of my residency, dere r many patients who comes in search for me on review PACs, coming to tell me d surgery is over &we r fine& leaving hospital!! Thankful &blessed😇
Merry Christmas everyone here!! 😇
I hope, everyone who spent this day in hospital get healed soon!
Being healthy is the greatest gift that we have!!

Yup. It's different and such training is much needed. Things which are distinct in once anaesthesia include:
1) Difficult airway in Head and Neck cancers
2) Different anti-cancer treatments and its interactions in the perioperative period.
Ex: Anaesthesia for HIPEC procedure
3) Pain Medicine and Palliative care for comforting the cancer patients.
4) Onco Critical Care
5) Developing ERAS pathways for various cancer surgeries.
@witchdrkochi I think I am too early to talk about this! There is fellowship also in Oncoanaesthesia! I think Aiims is offering DM in Oncoanaesthesia. I don't know much about this 😇
My senior who is doing oncoanaesthesia told me the same! She told me to learn the basic management ,patient care & evaluation, skills u will acquire in this journey!! I was eager in doing procedures but I understands now that it's important to learn basics
#NEETPG
When we take up #anaesthesia it is easy to be fixated with procedures, getting the CSF flow, putting the tube/cannula/catheter in, getting the correct response on PNS,hitting the target on USG,and yes these are important but they are NOT everything.
Residency is hectic but taking one step at a time, knowing what's happening around you, understanding the basics can make a difference and eventually everything will fall into places!!!
