We couldn't have done it without you! π€
The last 1,5 months have been a very inspiring journey for us. It was a great honour to witness such a lively and intense creative process from docu-filmmakers all over the world.
as well as Taiwan Docs, Film ASEAN, Purin Pictures for their support ππ»
We hope these Awards will give the filmmakers the fuel to continue sailing with their stories. Onwards and upwards, everyone!
Also, we sincerely thank all our partners for their generous support to help nurture Asian documentary filmmakers: @Kemenparekraf for their initiation and organisation, @FFDjogja and #Docmonde for their co-organisation; @GI_Indonesien, @IFI_Indonesia for their support;

A solo journey it is, but you don't have to row the boat alone π£ββοΈ
At first, our Storytelling Lab participant Angeline Teh didn't expect to have much to share from her story... until she heard feedback from the mentors.
It's. Always. Crazy.
That's the three words that came up from Lin Sun Oo, our Creative Producing Lab participant, when we asked about his DBTS experience! π€£
We'll be back with more thoughts from filmmakers, folks. Stay tuned! π
During the mentoring session, we must admit, we were awestruck to see her amount of footages! We hope that the lab has been helpful for her, as well as for other participants, in making their documentaries see the light π€π»
Stay tuned for more stories from our Lab participants!
What keeps you hooked to your story, folks? How long has your story's journey been for you?
For our Taiwanese Editing Lab participant, @YatingHsu1020, it was 17 years ago since she first started to shoot the story about a leprosy village in ISLAND OF THE WINDS.
Your journey will always be unique to you. But never forget, you don't have to do it all alone. We're here for you, DBTS alumni and fellow docu-filmmakers! For now that's a wrap for DBTS Labs ππ» See you again on DBTS Forum in August!
It's time to row the boat, together π
Isn't it invigorating to hear stories and experiences from industry experts? Aside from the Labs for our selected filmmakers, DBTS hosted public webinars covering the drills on documentary filmmaking from end to end.
