There is a deluge of information today. But the flotsam of misinformation always finds a way to rise to the top. Alternative medicine preys on people's insecurities and does active harm.

@1ondonsGreatest Like I said, if the gold crown and medals makes it worth it for you, good for you.
But that doesn't change the facts about how the game was played.
Enjoy the title, but to people for whom the game is entertainment, there is something more that matters.
@1ondonsGreatest The definition of good football is subjective. To each that is a different idea, and it's resonating with that idea that makes people watch that particular team.
Arsenal this season for the greater part have been unwatchable.
@GunnerMasala@RooUk@davidc_dc I don't give a damn about Arteta or Klopp or Carrick or Pep.
I watched Ronaldhino play, I watched Maldini play and Rooney and Henry play. I enjoyed all of them. I watched Nasri and Ozil, Scholes, Hazard and Gerrard. The game above everything else.
@GunnerMasala@RooUk@davidc_dc I don't believe in this tribalistic thinking. A club winning a trophy gives a fleeting moment of joy.
Football is for me to watch and enjoy. If my club gives me that good, If it gets trophies even better.
If that identity is lost the trophy means nothing to me.
@GunnerMasala@RooUk@davidc_dc I have absolutely no problem with Arsenal winning. I support a club, but that doesn't blind me to good football.
I watch the game, and watch it to enjoy the game. I support the club I do, because I loved watching what I saw. If that is lost, I have no connection with them.
@1ondonsGreatest Can't even make that statement with a ready made excuse.
If you are happy with what you see, wonderful. Enjoy your title.
Everyone has a right to their opinion and everyone can see what happens on the pitch for themselves.
@RooUk@davidc_dc@GunnerMasala And no that's not what all teams do. If you had your eyes open in the semi final which better teams played you will know. Teams also try to play football. Which you did not.
But that's your way, accept it and move on.
@RooUk@davidc_dc@GunnerMasala You got a chance off a deflected ball. Agreed it came from your press in the 6th minute and then did nothing for another 60! Just accept it dude! That was a pathetic performance. Accept it move on.
Don't play pathetic football and then claim the high ground as well.
@RooUk@davidc_dc@GunnerMasala Dude, you are simply deflecting. The graceful thing to do is, accept the fact that you played with zero intent in the champions league final. Whatever other teams did isn't the topic of conversation here. Accept it. Move on. Enjoy your trophy.
@RooUk@davidc_dc@GunnerMasala Again you asked to give you one instance. Gave it to you. Now you're accepting that you did play unwatchable football, and your reason is others do it? Could have just accepted it and moved on without wasting everyone's time.
@GoonerInParis@PatrickBury A real fan demands that their club wins with its ideals intact.
A real fan demands actual intent.
A real fan demands being true to the ideas that you held onto for decades.
Petrodollars to buy a trophy
Losing your identity to win one.
Both are the same loss of ideals.
@GoonerInParis@PatrickBury Again, you have no right to say that a viewer can't complain about the style of play, be it the champion of England or whatever. What is garbage is garbage.
@GoonerInParis@PatrickBury See, being a fan doesn't mean letting go of my ideals.
I support a club for it's identity on the pitch. If that's lost, the club has let go of what makes it whatever it is.
I have convictions, which don't change with trophies.
