This thread seems to have resonated with a few people. If you're interested I wrote this book about our platoon's experiences in Sangin... https://t.co/w0iEkZctb6 @simonschusterUK
"If Arsenal are unpopular with neutrals, it’s because they waste everyone’s time. Not just their opponents’ time, but our time too. Football fans everywhere are suffering Arsenal’s consequences. They are like a company that spews pollution into the environment in their production process, privatising the profits and socialising the costs. To them, dumping toxic sludge into the river is just free waste disposal. It’s the rest of us who get a headache when we drink the tap water" https://t.co/PHpC1FRgv7
“The champions generally had the rub of the green throughout the season, and in three matches decisions went their way that almost certainly had a positive impact on their final points tally.
All involved penalties that should have been awarded against them in matches they won by a single goal.” @TheAthletic https://t.co/3wR5vqgFWq
@Mr_Andrew_Fox Was just waiting for this summers trigger point for a pre prepared pile on. £5 mill farage is desperate so will say anything to rally base
“I have seen Russian outrage, I have seen German outrage, and I have seen Dutch outrage. But I have never seen such outrage as the men with the cannons on their chest” half a million engagements 🤣 👇🏽

@lukOlejnik Match that with Palantir etc and it’s literally skynet . Put it in an authoritarians hands and it’s game over . Need to think strategically and systematically now about the worst case strategically to design checks balances and fail safes
@TheSchm1dt I’m the same . But if you’re in the CL final and English champions you are gonna get stick playing like that , as you can see by the tweets popularity
That’s a false analogy. Hatfield is a distinct town outside London. Tottenham has been part of London’s northern urban area for centuries. You’re comparing completely different things. If you use your flawed logic, then there’s Kent Arsenal, Middlesex Arsenal and Greater London Arsenal . Just because your club has an identity crisis doesn’t mean everyone else does.
And btw the only thing North London about that song is its hackneyed
