@ciarannugent I'm pretty sure it's around 25% including USC and other charges up to around 42k then everything above that is taxed at 40% (+-). That's more than 17% unless I'm misunderstanding the term "effective tax rate".
A Ukrainian drones dives into an already blazing Wildberries warehouse in St. Petersburg, fascist Russia, this morning. Smoke from another blaze can been seen in the distance. Another Wildberries was hit in Crimea earlier. Claims up to 450 drones launched at Russia overnight.
@TadhgHickey Speak for yourself going as a guest of the government of a country that hangs homosexuals and has the highest rate of capital punishment per capita. But hell, they're against the west, so they must be good, right?!
@wallacemick 1 million people on the streets of Kyiv is a revolution, not a coup. The February 1917 revolution in Russia was a revolution because it was a popular uprising; the Bolshevik take over in October 1917 was a coup because it didn't have popular support.
Thank you, President @ZelenskyyUa, for welcoming me back to Kyiv.
I am here to express the steadfast and unwavering solidarity of the EU, and of Ireland, with the government and people of Ukraine.
Our support for Ukraine is as strong as it has ever been.
This is the Irish minister who has defended the russian refinery and was humiliated by me asking him why there were russian signs everywhere in his town. Now tweeting this about the refinery questions. Morally bankrupt
@TadhgCalbhaigh@EireNua1@ciarannugent But... You still come away with €110,000 net. On average one works 240 days a year taking into account weekends and annual leave. That works out at €458.33 a day.... Do you lads have gambling problems or something?
@EireNua1 I don't earn anywhere near that, so if I ever found myself in a situation where I was taking home 110k net, I'd be effing delighted.🤣 No brainwashing involved. I've even dabbled in some libertarian literature myself over the years.
