Always the optimist....
Bit of a hermit....
Fascinated by time and space
Been knocking around on my own for a while. My choice.
Definitely a madman with a box.
This is a picture of Folegandros.
It looks like a nice place, though I've never been.
The post says that it's 'untouched by time' and that can be very cool.
While observing the universe, @NASAHubble caught a galaxy cluster smiling for the camera. 😊
The smile lines are arcs caused by an effect known as gravitational lensing, where massive structures warp spacetime with their powerful gravitational forces and act as a cosmic lens.
About 200,000 light-years away, the star cluster NGC 290 glitters within the Small Magellanic Cloud – a small galaxy orbiting our Milky Way.
NGC 290 stretches 65 light-years across. The stars in this cluster are loosely bound to one another by gravity: https://t.co/0bD3z6pebU
@DoctorWhoPix Good ole Dastari, I have no doubt he could have augmented an earwig to the point where it understood nuclear physics, but I still think that it would have been a very stupid thing to do!
If I go on 'Google' these days it says 'Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot.'
I mean I'm not a robot.
I mean Elon Musk has a few but but I'm definitely not one.
Some days it just 'feels' like a Friday.
It isn't Friday (yet....well, where I am anyway) but it's just got that kind of feel to-day.
There's gotta be a word for that.
If there isn't I think I'll invent one.
