Except when used as collateral, at which point they become real. But what people do with them at that point is none of our business.

@mcasto_ Well, it sucks, but it was voluntarily agreed to by the owners of the capital. The flow of capital toward its best uses isn’t automatic or instant, but iterative. Would be interesting to see what Neumann does with the capital over the coming decades.
