i actually still cannot believe the BMA RDC are aware of the royal college experience limits for training and they think an "easy" way around it is working in a LED job in a completely unrelated speciality for 5 years
RCSEd has sensibly put out a statement that they consider 3 years of NHS experience enough for higher training/HST.
Yet we still have some delulu people arguing that an arbitrary 5 years for CT1/ST1 (which would breach the overqualification criteria in place) is reasonable 😅
@ThaboMille32010 they released a statement a couple of days ago saying that they disagree with the 5 years NHS experience policy BMA is backing but rather are recommending 3 years before higher surgical training. so it is good news really
