Your father is bleeding.
You have minutes.
The ambulance is still not here.
What if the thing that could save him didn’t exist yet?
That question changed one founder’s life.
Sabir Hossain grew up in a small town in West Bengal.
He made it to NIT Rourkela to pursue Biomedical Engineering, where he met Professor Verma. Research started. Biomaterials. Experiments. Academic work.
Then life interrupted research.
His father met with a severe accident involving excessive bleeding.
Suddenly, this wasn’t science anymore.
It was personal.
And Sabir realised something devastating:
India sees nearly 500 road deaths every day. Many die not because treatment is impossible.
They die because bleeding wins before help arrives.
That pain became a mission.
In 2018, Sabir and Professor Devendra Verma started Miraqules with one belief:
“No one should die waiting for help.”
Their first product, "StopBleed", a nano-composite hemostat is now approved in India and is already under evaluation in hospitals and select Indian Army units.
But the real story is how this happened.
No billion-dollar lab.
No massive war chest.
Just three people obsessed enough to keep going:
A biomaterials scientist. A professor. And later, Sabir’s cousin, Dr.Mubeen Midda, who left medical practice to join the mission
While the world chased the next app, they quietly built.
Today MIRAQULES has:
1. Support from BIRAC, DRDO and ICMR
2. 11 patents across the US, Europe, China, Israel and other countries
Total funding raised: less than $800K
With that, they went from:
Research to preclinical validation to pilot manufacturing to regulatory approvals to certifications and yes to early clinical adoption
Read that again.
Less than $800K
At a time when everyone is talking AI and software, it is easy to forget:
Some founders are building products.
Some are building survival.
Miraqules is one of those stories.
And perhaps this is the reminder India needs:
The hardest startups to build are often the most important ones.
And here to everyone - please extend all support to Sabir and his team to make this innovation available at SCALE. Our country needs this solution.
Why is it so difficult to have this simple "feature" of "reply to all with attachments" on @Outlook@Office
This external extension used to work, but that stopped😑

360 kW in boost mode...
Can you imagine?
It means a basic Electric vehicle with a 50kWh battery can get charged from zero to hundred in 15 minutes flat.
I will be driving thru this place tomorrow but sadly can't try it out. #oldpeopleoroblems

Once upon a time, #RaghuRai was my active inspiration.
Maybe he never stopped he just became a quiet, permanent one... A true legend. May his legacy continue to light the way for generations of visual storytellers... Forever...

MG S6 EV 👀
If @MGMotorIn@jswmotors pull this off with proper localization, this could be the most important EV launch in India since the ZS EV <3
Big question:
Can MG deliver Sealion 7-level space, battery & performance at ₹35–40L?
Because if yes, this doesn’t just compete with @BYDGlobal, it reshapes this segment (30-50L).
We are ready for a true global EV at local pricing, but are we getting it by 2027? ⚡️

The Mughal Princess of Mexico
In the central Mexican city of Puebla, a short drive from the largest pyramid ever built, stands the world’s most unexpected Mughal tomb.
Is there some serious issue with QCUltra Earbuds? Battery life is plummeting after 5-10 minutes of usage! Battery issue? Do I change the battery? Software Issue? Do I update? What's the resolution? Should I change to another brand? @Bose#boseindia
Hybrids, especially the plugin hybrids are the worst!
If you neanderthals can't make up your minds, stick to your gas guzzlers and go extinct that way.
Let evolutionary biology play it's role. 🙏

The reason why I can't think of buying a Mahindra (or even a Tata, having owned one): non-existent service, zero repair capability.
Strictly avoid.
Unfortunately, they are giving a bad name to all EV brands.
