Everyone is struggling in this country including medical doctors.

The economy has eliminated the middle class, you are either upper class or poor, no such thing as average anymore

The society still holds the believe that doctors are rich, this is far from the truth.

In an ideal society, the masses will hold the government, even protest on behalf of the healthcare workers for better healthcare allocation, payment of workers and equipping the hospital

In my country however, no ambulance system, the sector is struggling, yet everyone is on

Noticed that many healthcare workers want to enjoy life like others.

They don't read, they work half heartedly and are not really interested in improving their knowledge and clinical skills.

It's a downtrend from here on I suppose.

Healthcare workers are gradually losing the trust of the public

You spend so much time on social media, you want to be like every body else, follow trends, enjoy gossips etc

Bt the truth is, you are not like every body else.

You chose the path of sacrifice and

Tends online warning ppl not to be sick or come to the hospital, because the hospital is filled with gen Z healthcare workers is disheartening to say the least.

Another week, another drama

Last week, I delivered a mother of twins

First baby was cephalic presenting, longitudinal lie, and delivery was seamless with a good APGAR score

Second baby, however, was breached, delivery was a little tough, and the baby cried after rigorous stimulation .

Less than 2hrs later, my attention was called.

The second twin was desaturating with abnormal breathing pattern.

Turned out, the mother fed the baby with.....
