What happens when profit-making companies run NHS services? Samantha Jones, the new DOH permanent secretary, was CEO of Operose, the company mentioned here

Have you done the consultation on PAs/AAs? It must be done by tomorrow March 30th--really important that everyone gives their views.https://t.co/uPZh4wNGoP
What nonsense, Charlie Massey! He says yet again '' Physician associates have worked in the NHS for over 20 years' but he knows very well that there were only a handful 20 years ago.https://t.co/VzOdrb74Cz
No, Wes Streeting! More private sector involvement is absolutely NOT the way to solve NHS problems.
Publicly funded and publicly provided is the way to go.
A job advert for a PA working basically as a GP being first contact for undifferentiated, undiagnosed patients.
They’ve specified **NO previous primary care experience required** 🚩
Let’s be v clear. GPs are CONSULTANTS in Primary care - completing foundation & specialist postgraduate training with rigorous exams throughout.
It’s like advertising a job for a cardiology consultant for someone without a medical degree & NO cardiology experience?!
Has common sense left the building?!
This is one of the main reasons why “Israelis” are no longer allowed to give interviews immediately after their release to live TV.
They don’t want you to know the truth.
NHS admin is run by people who work hard so front-line staff can. 'Cutting admin' to save money is short-sighted folly @keepnhspublic@TheDA_UK

I ask you one question sir
When the NHS is completely run purely with non-doctor roles acting as doctors, you and your loved ones will be using the NHS right?
Today’s PA debate:
When @Paulscriven stopped talking nonsense about ‘toxic debate’, he actually made a valid point.
He stated that PAs should be assessed on their rate of never events compared to other staff.
Luckily for him I did that almost a year ago, see below.

1900 doctors filled out your tedious consultation and you have ignored legitimate concerns.
By opening the doors to “local scope” you are inviting a Wild West approach to medicine.
Stop putting patients in danger, implement the "BMA safe scope for MAPs" document today.
Hi @doctor_oxford luckily you didn’t need to get to day 100 of asking
But
A) is this data even true and how much was discarded
B) it’s wild that PA ‘registration’ is still going ahead with its outcomes
C) Massey and Melville need to resign
