Track and trace contacted us but we still (>48hours post test) don’t have our results from express test. The lack of explanation for why the result release was being delayed has risked peoples health. the purpose of testing is to find +ve cases these should not break your system.

@ExpressTestUK we paid £280 for Day 2 PCR tests with a promise of next day results: 48 hours later, 2 contact forms and 5 calls in and still none the wiser if one of our group has covid, where the test is, why the delay or if we need retesting. Do you think this is good enough?

@davidschneider This statement undermines all today’s evidence. Before today I have had huge respect for the massive amount achieved from such a low pre-pandemic base.

Having spent 8-10 hour days in a COVID aerosol ward, daily re-using PPE rated for 4hours I know this statement is simply false.

@davidschneider I genuinely have no problem with the decision not to test before discharge for any and all the reasons given, sadly the pre-pandemic preparedness choices that led to the lack of testing capacity were questionable at the time and more so now.
