During the winter months, Councils continually monitor weather conditions and forecasts using 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽��𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 to keep our communities moving safely.

Our 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘄‐𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 are on standby and deployed whenever conditions require. As a result, our dedicated roadworkers have been extremely busy carrying out winter maintenance operations across 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗵 & 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀. 🌨️🛣️

Earlier this week, @Aberdeenshire Council issued a national mutual aid request for snowblowers. ⚠️

Our Perth Road Maintenance Partnership Manager responded, and one of our snowblowers commenced work in Ballater on Wednesday along with two of our Roadworkers from Blairgowrie Depot.

First time competing at @EnglandAthletic U17 Champs representing @dundeehawks - made it to finals of 100m & 200m. No medals this time but a new PB of 10.94s in the 100m. Fantastic achievement to reach finals and a PB.
