@Billy_Bflo_716@AmerksHockey@BlueCrossArena@MiMiV4682 And that's weird and a little unfair, I guess, but like that's still 6 games you could attend. Also not the Amerks fault, making it a little weird to complain about it to them. They don't get to control the schedule and there might be more weekend games this coming season anyway
@Billy_Bflo_716@AmerksHockey@BlueCrossArena@MiMiV4682 AHL games are pretty much only played Wednesday and Friday through Sunday. What do you mean there aren't many home games on weekends?? That just doesn't make sense. Most of the season occurs over weekends, therefore most home games would also occur during the weekend.
@7thSwordsMan7@Sabremetrix Briefly at the start and end of the season. And the Amerks single playoff series. He wasn't quite ready at the start of the season and then came back after the Thunderbirds season ended
@BuffaloSabres VETERAN GOALIE FOR ROCHESTER! JARMO CARES ABOUT THE AMERKS!! I've been waiting for this, very exciting to have a GM that cares about the farm team (which they all should, it's the best way to ensure that the prospects best that they can be)
@JimBobv2@Matt_Bove@PuckPedia Rehab stint probably, which is understandable considering he hardly played last season. Also looks like Danforth (who also barely played) and Kozak will go to Rochester. Kozak isn't a true NHLer yet and we don't know how Danforth will actually work as part of the team
@Jimmy57996139@Matt_Bove@PuckPedia Fr his ability to work with anybody on the team is incredible. And he was a good defensive forward to balance out Thompson on top line last year
@LilSoftJock@BensonForHart Quinn in the shootout alone makes him more valuable than Kane imo. Quinn's got like an 80% goal rate in shootouts. And he's younger and will probably continue to get better
@JimBobv2@BensonForHart@PuckPedia If that's true then it's possible him, Helly and Osty will go in and out of the lineup/Rochester depending on injuries and who's playing best. Which is honestly a good thing
@WingNutz74@ByMHarrington It's not super important that they do currently imo. None of them are going to play professionally for at least another season. It'd be nice if they were really good now but realistically it doesn't really matter.
@andynieds@CMDeDominicis Probably, the Sabres don't actually need either guy but Rochester desperately needs decent veteran players to help get the kids to reach their full potential. It was my biggest problem with Adams last summer, he didn't do anything for the Amerks roster and they ended up terrible
@JTripi16@NotTheJoeMarino Helenius and รstlund were both already arguably better than Tuch in the playoffs. And Kulich should be great so long as he gets back into the swing of things quickly and easily enough
@DarrenRoss74@alexbrasky Schenn and Stanley for essentially two AHLers in the Sabres franchise. Rosen wasn't gonna crack the NHL roster and Bryson wasn't good enough to stay for playoffs. Jarmo got bigger, more experienced players for the playoffs, it's a fairly common thing for teams to do.
@talas11325@sesau_22_@Mike_Bundt We have like 7 centers. At least two of them (McLeod and Carrick) are perfectly capable of winning faceoffs. And realistically all of our centers can and should get better at faceoffs leading up to the start of the season
@DuaneS39 Doan takes up some of Tuch's role, Kulich, รstlund, and Helenius can fill in the rest imo. Osty and Helly both arguably played better than Tuch in the playoffs, and they should only get better from here
@DiddyDunback@TheThomasDeLaus Okay he got hurt a couple times in his first NHL season. Kulich missed almost the entire season due to a (presumably) injury-caused illness that could've rendered him unable to play ever again in his second season. It's odd to bring up ones injury history while ignoring the other
