@lllaurenA There’s a thing called supply and demand. Read up on it just a little, very basic stuff. Mix in a little Milton Friedman. Look up the pencil example.
@thepicksvault@OsheaJacksonJr Not an underdog, but a villain. Accused of everything and guilty of none of it. It pisses the players off and they draw motivation from it.
Being good is a combination of player development, investment and risk. Not every high priced free agent pans out. The dodgers develop prospects then trade for guys like Skubal. For years we were labeled chokers and under achievers. For years we passed on the high priced FA. But we developed a deep farm system. Got a good TV deal. Made legal deferrals which are paying off. We’ve gotten really good at this shit. Get over it and just sit back and admire.
There’s so much desire to better the Dodgers. Putting way too. Much importance on passionate fans. The way you guys celebrated the wild card at Dodger Stadium. There was a level of desperation the way you guys brought in Miller for 6 outs in game 2. Check your team leaders as well. Character matters.
Here some organization advice. Get rid of Machado and Tatis. Get whatever you can in return in prospects or character veterans. These guys are not leaders. They won’t get you to the promise land. The Dodgers have made mistakes along the way. They stay away from guys like this. Character matters.
@FsuTHC4 It must not mean as much to you as to others. Been to hundreds of games and have been o so close. If I get a ball, I’m giving it to my daughter. Don’t teach your kids to beg.
