@repapjr@PatC42@FelixTandem Its a geographical term, not a political one that dates back to a period before a british or Irish historical record existed.
I understand the political ire around its usage but its the most common name for describing the islands off the coast of northern east Europe
@repapjr@PatC42@FelixTandem Okay but its still called the British isles whether the irish government recognise it or not, if its changed then what has it changed to? Pretty simple question
@PatC42@FelixTandem I understand and appreciate the point ur making, just curious what alternative you would now use since a geographical term as old as any British and Irish historical record has become politically charged
The Best TV Shows of 2025: #Andor
“Andor” was all about the ordinary people who make political movements work and won’t be remembered by history.
The Disney+ series made these fictional people so complete in such a short period of time, and within a framework as historically constricting as a blockbuster franchise, that it deserves to be remembered as the show of the year, if not the decade so far.
