@ShickDits I test drove the entire line of Porsche vehicles. I would just go to the dealership for fun. They handed me the keys and let me go by myself for everything. The last car I test drove was a 911 GTS. I explicitly told them I couldn’t afford it. You can just do things.

@conordun @ok6ixx I got very lost and confused in Shibuya and my JR Pass stopped working (magnets or something) and a guy in a suit assisted me in English, literally taking me exactly where I needed to be like a lost puppy and waited in line at the assistance counter with me to get me a new pass.

@ok6ixx I had last service at an omakase izakaya named Tanpopo in Kawaguchiko. It was late at night, very dark and they knew where I was staying at because the owner of that place made the reservation for me. The owner insisted on driving me back. I will go back there next trip to Japan

I had fufu (the white stuff) with chicken stew at an African place and it was pretty good. They gave me utensils and did not appear to have snot bowls on the menu either

@pipkinpippa This is so upsetting to hear. I had a ferret get sick and unfortunately pass while I was in Japan a few years ago. I recommend finding a boarder that has a vet consent contract baked in to their paperwork if possible. It is so hard to find a good boarder with a non dog/cat.

@HelloImDr3w I met my husband in WotLK. He joined my guild and came from the guild I was in previously, but we weren’t there at the same time. I asked him if he couldn’t stand the GM anymore either, so we started talking off a mutual dislike of our old GM. 🙈

@GrantSlatton When I was a kid I was told i needed braces. My parents told that dentist to fuck off, partially because they couldn’t afford it but I had straight teeth. As an adult my teeth are so straight that I have had dentists ask me if I have had braces from x rays.

@catnippah @lysshuh @lunachainsaw I have no strong opinion on this but I’m 36 and lots of songs about sex were on the radio when I was a kid. The radio is where I listened to music. A lot of stuff probably goes over kids heads. I loved Too Close by Next as a kid and that song is about getting a boner in the club.
