1. Rationalizing the prescription. Selecting appropriate drug for patient needs beyond the scientific need (individualised therapy)
2. Monitoring Drugs Use & follow up for therapeutic effect and undesirable effects
3. Cost Effectiveness of selected medicine
Under cost effectiveness Generic medicine substitution is just but one of the options the pharmacists has & is responsible for on behalf of healthcare team to patient
