#TheWeddingYear tried to pack too much into what I thought was going to be a lighthearted #romcom. Existential crises of the leads didn't help at all & I wondered if it was a coming of age movie at times. My face throughout the movie 👇🏼

I see what #MKnightShymalan did there with #KnockAtTheCabin...made me choose a side & then expect this big classic twist but nope not this time! When the truth hits the viewer like a ton of bricks I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for the leads to portray that emotion.
