Even listening to @robin_warder did not prepare me for the staggering number of "people looking for lost siblings after the government tore apart the family 50 years ago" cases on Unsolved Mysteries ๐ฅฒ -Cat
@robin_warder Seriously! I guess that's the benefit of having way fewer channels to choose from back then... The nice thing about watching the series so long after it first aired is that so many of the cases are solved or at least have updates.
Weโre finally back! This episode was recorded in October 2021 - thank you for your patience. Look forward to monthly Doe episodes in 2022! Listen whenever you get your podcasts, or check out our link in bio.
If you're looking for a fun (and hilarious) podcast to listen to, I highly recommend @whatatimepod! 103 episodes in, and I'm still loving it. (...think it's all I've been listening to since the end of November, tbh...) -Cat

Very happy to learn the identity of Walker County Jane Doe, a 1980 murder victim whose story I covered on Episode 93 of my podcast. Her name is Sherri Ann Jarvis. https://t.co/wtkfrq61mb
Henrietta Lacks went to Johns Hopkins for cervical cancer treatment. Her cells were taken without permission, then used for breakthrough medical research. Big Pharma made BILLIONS while the Lacks family got NOTHING. Demand this decades-long wrong be RIGHTED:
The Astroworld tragedy wasnโt a fucking ritual. The only thing truly โdemonicโ about what happened was the way profit and ego were put over human lives.
Today is Indigenous Veterans Day, which was established in Winnipeg in 1994 to honour the contributions of Indigenous Veterans who were not being recognized for their sacrifice as part of Remembrance Day.
seriously upsetting that the astroworld tragedy is turning into a full-fledged satanic panic + unfounded drugs scare. I've never seen such a meticulously documented disaster across social media platforms

The Arctic is warming at a rate of two to three times the rest of the world, and while the signs of it may seem invisible to an outsider, they are disturbingly clear if you call Old Crow home. https://t.co/hQ7u6mF6tp
