I called up customer service before raising a claim to make sure it’s covered in policy and after making all day calls with multiple agents, no one

I have zero claim, yes, but it also will stay on record for 3 yrs that will restrict me to shop around for other insurance policies.

@PropertyClmPro Hey, I first asked if the inquiry will be considered as claim and they said no. I was very specific that I didn’t want that on record as claim if my repairs won’t be covered. Over the process, multiple agents confirmed it would be covered but NO

2. Still insisted that I need clarity before claim and they redirected me to agent, who confirmed that policy covers it
3. Now agent from claims says it doesn’t cover. By the way, the agent gave very inconsistent answers every time I called

She told me it will be covered if tunneled from side earlier and now she said it won’t be covered because I switched from home owner to landlord

3/n what’s the point in calling customer service if they can’t give policy coverage? How can a customer in critical need for repairs go through this vicious cycle only to tell me that they wouldn’t cover the claim?
