Matter 1.3 is here! It adds a bunch of new device types, including water management devices (leak/freeze sensors, rain sensors, water valves, etc.), EV chargers, microwave ovens, ovens/ranges, cooktops, range hoods, and dryers. Still no security cameras or doorbells, though!

Presence sensors aren’t their own device type in the Matter spec yet, but this is still nice to see!

Finally, a Matter presence sensor! Seems like @merosshome will beat @AqaraSmarthouse in releasing a Matter compatible presence sensor. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one.

The relatively unknown AIDot app has been certified to control #Matter devices. The app's iOS version history claims Matter support is live as of 12/30/22.

.@Resideo has received Matter certification for a new T10-M smart thermostat! Like its predecessor the T9, it will work with the company's RedLink room sensors.
