They say gender is a social construct and can be fluid or non-existent, then turn around and demand we make laws according to gender instead of sex.
Make it make sense.
So many inconsistencies and logical fallacies with this whole trans🏳️⚧️ and nonbinary thing:
If "nonbinary doesn't have a look", then what's the point of chopping off body parts?
U say "clothes dont equal gender" so why change how u dress when u transition?
U say "your gender isnt what's in your pants" then whats the point of "gender affirming care"?
If gender is a "feeling" then what does being a woman "feel like"? And how do u know u dont "feel like" one?
U say its wrong to assume someone's gender but u assume all butch lesbians r trans and want to be men?
If "pronouns don't equal gender", then what's the point of changing it?
U say "its wrong to assume someone's pronouns" but u immediately assume Cocona and other "nonbinary, transmasculine, agender yada yada yada" women want to be called "he/him"?
U say "its wrong to assume someone's pronouns" but u immediately assume all masc lesbians use "they/them"?
And lastly, why can't u answer these simple questions without dismissing the ppl who ask them by calling them "terfs", getting defensive, resorting to insults and even death threats?
I thought u were all about being open to discussions, asking questions and learning new things...lol
Whenever the bathroom debate gets brought up, trans activists always share photos of shirtless hairy women on T and ask "You sure you want HIM in the women's restrooms!?" But they never show you pics of these guys as an example of people they DO wish to allow in the women's.
@Power_of_Banana@HelenWebberley If this were true, healthcare professionals would scan the brains of those wanting HRT and trans surgeries to ensure no one was administered unecessary medicine or surgery
@Madeittoofar@marycatedelvey Unfortunately, castration is part of the fetish and he will still fully be capable of rape or assault. Rape and assault are a form of power and control. A penis is not necessary amd a lack of one doesn't make men safer for women fo be around.
@StrawHatYakub Sports are played with sexed bodies....not skin colors. Women are female, regardless of their skin color. Tramswomen are male, regardless of however they feel about themselves.
Why is it acceptable for transwomen in Thailand to be called "ladyboys" but unacceptable for transwomen in other countries to be called the same?
Why is calling a TW a "trans-identified man," or "male", considered wrong?
Why do some TW get hurt by words and some don't?
@bailuschsaurus@AlexxiAlexxi99@cervixen I was agreeing with you and adding my 2c. Sorry that wasn't obvious! I should have worded that better.
For clarification, I do not belive in the concept of "gender" as a social construct or ideal that differs from sex, as there is no clear, succinct definition.
@bailuschsaurus@AlexxiAlexxi99@cervixen Gender presentation differs between types of women. Take femmes and dykes for example. They are both women, but have different ways they present themselves.
Would you say dykes are socially "men?"
No. They are women. Just like a high femme.
@HelenWebberley People who don't subscribe to the gender roles/style/mannerisms of their sex during any given time period have always existed. This does not make them special or mean they deserve spaces designated for the opposite sex.
@AmyAplomb@AlexxiAlexxi99@cervixen Great point. This line of thinking would exclude dykes based off the fact that they look and present as men, but identify as women.
@babybeginner@saeterjenta How can they not see the exorbitant amount of TIMs winning or placing in girls/women's competitions, and practically ZERO TIFs winning and placing boys/men's competitions?
It's common sense male puberty gives males an advantage in sports.
@speakoutsister The concept of "gender" is entirely subjective and made up. TRAs can't even clearly define it with the same definition.
Sex is objective and can be tested.
This is why grouping by gender rather than sex is total nonsense, especially since some say gender can be non-existent.
