@arrivaessex Commercially viable?!
Arriva's UK Bus Operations generated β¬639 million in revenue with an operating profit of Β£45.5 million last year.
Putting young children's fares up 100% is pure greed which impacts on the poorest people in society. @WatfordMayor@Turmaine
@arrivaessex 321 in Watford. Clarendon road stop S to Regent St. Ridiculously, it would be cheaper if my children were older as they'd be entitled to a Saver Card. Children between 5-11 now as expensive as adults.
@miss_mcinerney Aaaaah sweaty, smelly memories of the Hackney academy I taught in.... Newly built in 2011. Windows centrally controlled and wouldn't open. Inside walls made of..... glass π« .
@arrivaessex Hi
Please can I ask for more information from Arriva on the decision to increase child single fares in Watford from Β£1.50 to Β£3? Thank you
@dr_besty@TomTugendhat@sainsburys You don't have to ou prices up to cover costs. You can accept the costs and have lower profits. Unless you have shareholders who you put above your staff being able to have food and shelter
@bphillipsonMP@jamieoliver Ah yes. Training. The golden ticket to slashed budgets, classes of 32 and endless endless workload. That'll keep everyone in the classroom meeting every single child's individual needs πππ
@Samstricko181 Surely the issue is that there are too many variables. I'm predicting year 11 gcse results now, but I don't know if the student will be happy /well/hungry/angry, if the weather will be boiling hot / really wet, if the exam paper in the morning before mine is great or a stinker π
@GoodwinMJ That's because nobody who is right leaning will accept the shit pay and lack of progression π go ask all the right leaning friends to come join the teaching workforce and see what happens
@KirstieMAllsopp You're extremely wealthy thanks to luck and you have never had to rely on public services. Maybe others have a different opinion from you because they haven't had the same experience.
