It's definitely not a lesser form. Trans womanhood as a class is composed of people who are TMA – nothing to do with natal cycle (puberty?) there are trans women who do not go thru T puberty – it simply delineates the group of people who are the primary targets of transmisogyny.

There are a lot of trans women who see trans womanhood as simply a lesser form of cіs womanhood they have to settle for due to the circumstances of their birth, which is why they can’t conceive of someone who didn’t have a testosterone dominant natal cycle as being a trans woman
