Overthinking is a risk for leaders. It involves thinking about a decision or topic excessively, reading all kinds of possibilities into the situation. Actions we can take to reduce overthinking:
1) Pay attention to the way we think.
2) Have some perspective.
3) Focus on the things we can change.
4) Get a good start every day.
5) Schedule some time for reflection.
6) Practice mindfulness.
7) Stop being a perfectionist.
8) Recognise we can't control everything.
