For a relationship to be Right it has to have a Purpose...
When the purpose of a thing is not known... Abuse is inevitable
If there's no purpose, then there's is no need for that relationship.
WHY A MAN MUST LOOK AT HIS FIANCÉE'S MOTHER BEFORE HE CHOOSES A WIFE:
Young man,
Before you marry a woman, don't just study her beauty.
Study her mother.
There is a reason our fathers paid attention to the women in a family long before they approved a marriage.
Experience taught them what romance could not.
Many people think marriage is the union of two individuals.
It is not.
Marriage is the meeting point of values, habits, beliefs, temperaments, and family cultures.
You are not only marrying a woman.
You are marrying the environment that shaped her.
Now, I am not saying every daughter becomes her mother.
No.
But every daughter carries traces of the woman who raised her.
Some traces are visible immediately.
Others emerge years into marriage.
Observe how her mother speaks to her husband.
Observe how she handles disagreements.
Observe how she responds to stress.
Observe her attitude toward respect, responsibility, and accountability.
Because when life becomes difficult, people often return to what they learned at home.
A beautiful face can hide an unhealthy family culture.
Many men investigate a woman's past but never investigate the home that produced her.
That is like inspecting a fruit while ignoring the tree.
The tree matters.
When you visit her family, don't focus on how they treat guests.
Anybody can perform for visitors.
Pay attention to what happens when everyone becomes comfortable.
That is where truth lives.
Watch the women she admires.
Watch the women she imitates.
Watch the women she constantly defends.
People naturally move toward the examples they celebrate.
Look at her mother's relationship with accountability.
Some people are never wrong.
Nothing is ever their fault.
Everyone else becomes the problem.
A child raised in such an environment may unconsciously adopt the same habits.
Observe her mother's attitude toward money.
Some families see money as a tool to build.
Others see it as a weapon to control.
Marriage eventually reveals which culture a person comes from.
Another thing.
Watch how her mother treats people beneath her social status.
The waiter.
The cleaner.
The security guard.
The struggling relative.
Character is often hidden from equals but exposed toward subordinates.
A wise man doesn't only ask:
"Do I love her?"
He also asks:
"What kind of environment produced her thinking?"
Because love can make a man blind.
Marriage has a way of restoring sight.
The purpose of studying her mother is not to judge or condemn.
It is to understand.
You are looking for patterns.
You are looking for strengths, weaknesses, values, and family culture.
Because every family passes something down.
Some pass down wisdom.
Some pass down discipline.
Some pass down loyalty.
Some pass down emotional stability.
Some pass down chaos.
The inheritance is not always financial.
And before anyone gets offended, the same principle applies in reverse.
A woman should also study the father of the man she intends to get married to.
Many sons eventually reveal the lessons they absorbed from the men they watched growing up.
Marriage is not won by finding a perfect spouse.
There are none.
Marriage is won by understanding the patterns attached to the person you choose.
A blind man marries an individual.
A wise man studies the lineage.
So before you choose a wife, don't only ask about beauty, education, or compatibility.
Ask yourself:
"What kind of woman raised this woman?"
That single question has saved many people from years of regret.
The elders understood something this generation often forgets:
Courtship reveals the person. Family reveals the future.
End.
FOR AS LONG AS YOU REMAIN IN GOD’S HAND, NOTHING SPOILS.
Whatever is damaged in your life, God can repair it, provided you still remain in His hand.
Beloved, remain in the hands of God. Nothing can be damaged in your life.
What a powerful insight from the message titled, “Channels of Divine Wisdom.”
Remain in God’s hands, and you are preserved. 🙏🏽
Nothing in your life shall be lost, damaged, or wasted, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!🔥👏

The reason why I struggle to share or chime in on controversial topics is because I understand the heart of the conservative
I know us because I am “us” (I hope this makes English sense)
The average conservative cares only about one thing
Heaven
We want to close our eyes in death and see Jesus face to face
And we will cut off any metaphoric arm that doesn’t want to allow us see Jesus. And so for trouser or TV or anything no else that does not seem very clear, we leave it alone
We give it up
And a lot of people don’t understand this
I’ve seen conservatives who got married in their 20s stay unmarried when their husbands leave because they don’t want to divorce
I’ve seen conservatives lose jobs and scholarships because they won’t change their age
I’ve send conservatives go back to write WAEC or return their university certificate because they cheated
The heart of a person who grew up in a holiness conservative setting does not see anything too much to give up for Jesus
A lot of people don’t see this
They see a bunch of weirdos who don’t wear makeup or throw their TVs away without thinking twice
And I think Jesus loves them for it. Some of the things they do may seem extreme to you if you’re looking with a critical judgemental spirit
Nobody is having more fun in life because they wear trousers
Nobody is miserable because they don’t wear makeup
I know this because I’ve lived like this all my life
Jesus will not turn anyone away from the gates of heaven because they gave up too much form the sincerity of their heart
So before you laugh at them and look at them like they are morons, ask yourself
If these things are actually sinful, can you give them up??
Can you walk around in the world refusing everything everyone else is doing because of your faith?
How much can you sacrifice for your faith?
And to you my dear conservative, keep doing you.
Keep being you. If you don’t feel permitted in your spirit to do something, please don’t.
Your Father sees your heart.
Blessings!
My friend said the happiness he gets from being married to his wife equates to the satisfaction people get from financial security when they look at their bank account. He is not even rich but he is very content and very happy. I've known him for over a decade and his financial situation has never affected his mood or relationship. Very decent fellow.
One day he was with me what she called his wife and told her he is feeling very generous and she should ask for anything. This woman said "popcorn" and he laughed. He told her that your husband is feeling generous and you are asking for popcorn. She said, "but that is what I want na. Buy me popcorn."
I just smiled and shook my head because I know many rich people who do not have what he has.
I was 16 years old when this photo was taken. This was the first time I would “go out” with a male. It was a secondary school class mate
My mum was aware
Not only was she aware but we picked out my dress and did my hair together
I told her that a boy wanted to take me out and she said “sure, go and sit and gist”
This is how I was raised
And I personally believe that this was the main reason why I grew up chaste and did not make dumb mistakes as a growing young woman
Because my mum was my friend. She knew when to be a mother and when to be a big sis. When to be my bestie
Every man that spoke to me , my mum knew
I did not have have hide
I did not have to pretend
She told me I would like boys and that it was totally fine. But that it was like a plant I could nurse till it grows into something sinful, or I could quash it
She told me about sex
She told me outside marriage it wasn’t worth it and would just leave heartbroken and waste my time
She told me EVERYTHING.
You could not tell me anything new.
We gisted about boys.
She shared her own experiences growing up with me
She trusted me enough to send me out to meet a boy and not do anything foolish and come back home.
We grew up conservative but my mum made sure I made decisions by myself and understood the “why” behind the rules.
She taught me about consequence
She taught me about how that Gods way is always best
You could not deceive me
You could not lie to me and tell me rubbish
Mumsy was always ten steps ahead
The woman that I am today, I owe to my mother.
I hope more mothers, especially Christian mothers understand how to tow this delicate line
May God help us.
@DRealist4all@jon_d_doe Not the church, GOD
God calls all sex outside of Marriage - SIN, it’s not an idea of the church
I recommend personal studying of the Bible, that’s God word and manual on how we should live
My heart is deeply broken seeing people asking for something as simple as the right to practice Christianity in their own ancestral home.
Please lend your voices to the plight of Christians in Nigeria 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
As a lady, don’t just wish and hope to get married to a great man, instead prepare for what you wish for and it would come to you…
You attract someone Amazing the more amazing the quality of your life (in Self development and Character) becomes.
A person who is always right in every conflicting scenario
A person who hardly takes responsibility for his/her actions or inactions
A person who hardly apologizes sincerely
A person who easily/ is always quick to blame or find fault with others and never themselves
AVOID!
Your dressing/appearance, your attitude, your jokes, your mannerisms, your associations, your behavior, your appetites, your tastes and your words (all of which are many times subconscious) — are expressions of your HEART
Don’t be selfish about your wishes when hoping to find true love
As you are having standards or favorable expectations of what you want your partner to be, hope you are already up to such standards and expectations?
You want a person with good looks, faithful, good character
There has been darkness over Nigeria in the past couple of days.
I felt maybe we should call for a 3 day national prayer and fasting...but since I became a believer we have been praying
I will marry very well.
I will enjoy married life, so well.
I will marry only one person, it’ll be my only marriage, we’ll celebrate every year and you all will be there to celebrate our 40th too.
I will love that woman with everything.
We will love each other and enjoy everything God thought and decided marriage was a good idea.
Joy will be spoken of from our home.
We will testify of God’s heart and hand with us and carrying us.
Our children will testify of their parents Union to nations.
We will live long, in good health, sound mind, wealth and in love.
Nations will come from us.
We’ll have twins.
On one of those newly weds evening my husband ordered a box of fried chicken and chips
And that was my first encounter with “Gravy”
It was this brown sauce that came with the food and when I put it in my mouth, I felt it was diabolical
It tasted like mediocre chicken that wasn’t seasoned was rinsed and that tepid liquid was thickened with clay scraped from off the sidewalk
That’s just putting it mildly
It was disgusting
My husband on the other hand swore that it was sublime
Here’s the thing,
Every other time we got fries and chicken, chairman would say,
“Baby just try it.”
And he would insist until i dipped one fry in gravy
Two days ago, he came home with fries and chicken
Guess what, I put gravy in my mouth and I didn’t stop until I dipped every fry and every chicken in gravy
It tasted good🥹
And herein dear child of God lies the mystery of acquired taste
The Slimy Okoro soup you think is delicious today is because before you could even say you name, your grandma repeatedly put it inside your mouth
Again and again and again
And you grew to love it
This is why one man’s delicacy is another man’s abomination
And so whatever you constantly give yourself to, you grow to love
It could be the word or intimacy with the Holyspirit
Or it could be everything sinful and abominable
The people that you see that are thriving spiritually, year after year remain evergreen in Christ,
They don’t wait to randomly be fed by the chefs the devil has strategically placed in movies and social media and life generally
They intentionally feed themselves with the things of God
