Governors have power to collect SECURITY VOTE monthly, but they don't have control over security agencies in their States abi?
The other time, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, collected N30bn for victims of January 2024 explosion in Ibadan, he pocketed the money and closed his mouth.
When we are ready for the real conversation on insecurity, we will show it.
If Oyo State gets a state of emergency over insecurity, other states like Kwara, Zamfara, Ondo, Ekiti, Borno, Niger, and Katsina will fix their kidnapping issues. The President must be proactive. Use one state as an example, or governors won't sit up and take responsibility.
There’s no security tension in Akure and by extension Ondo state, disregard any report claiming that students were kidnap in any part of Ondo State.
It is fake news and should be vehemently disregarded!
Ondo State is safe!!!
The President @officialABAT should declare a state of emergency in Oyo State.
2: usual security breach in that state by all the actors that must be immediately contained by the Federal Govt.

Ekiti, Borno, Zamafara and Kwara abductions have hardly made the news.
Guess why?
The Governors can’t call out the President like Oyo state Governor did.
Have you heard the FG say anything about the abduction in those states?
For Record purpose!!!
Since 2019, here’s what Gov. Seyi Makinde has donated to security operatives in Oyo State:
Vehicles & Patrol Vans donated to Securty Operatives to combat insecurity from 2019–2026
When everybody wakes up from the political affiliation that has affected our reasoning of what the country is turning to, may it not be too late.
I hope it is not even too late right now, Dr Obadiah warned since 2020.
APC supporters woth their dull brain have activated another agenda in their WhatsApp group.
“State of Emergency in Oyo state”
Leaving Ekiti, Kwara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Nigeria, Kogi, Zamafara, Borno, Yobe etc…..
Because you know what? The Governor of Oyo state dares call out their Lord and Savior Batman.
Declaring a state of emergency in Oyo State is useless. 😩
What would really hit Seyi hard is freezing the state's accounts and withholding its FAAC allocation.
Zero.
Oyo state only had 2300 Amotekun, over 200 of them were killed.
Tiny Lagos has 7,000 state security agents.
Security vote in 2025 for Oyo state was over 20 billion Naira while that of Lagos was 17 billion.
Indigenes of Oyo need to ask Makinde some questions
Unconfirmed reports claim that the sister and children of APC governorship aspirant and former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu (Penkelemesi), have been k%dnapped around the Elewura area of Ibadan, Oyo State. Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
@shextian Because most Governors are APC. They don’t speak against the President.
Seyi Makinde and Akeredolu asked for it till Aketi died, and right now they are still attacking him for requesting for it.
But when Seyi Makinde said the President was wasting time with memoranda and should not play politics with it like he did with Amotekun.
APC people said he was saying the state police was waste of time and he is saying he needs Lagos Amotekun to secure his state.
The President was sending out a memoranda when all they needed was to fast track the process at the National
Assembly.
When they wanted to apply for loans, approve budgets, change anthem, declare state of emergency,, they did those things very fast.

I condemn in the strongest possible terms, attacks launched by the Nigerian military on unarmed young people, who have been peacefully protesting police brutality over the last 12 days as #EndSARS protests.
