We looked at NPS’s management of these systems. While effective overall, we identified several areas for improvement, including remediating open public health recommendations and maintaining a better inventory of backcountry pit privies.
For this audit, we looked at how Texas expended its initial round of IIJA grant funds and found that it had been done properly and fulfilled program goals in accordance with applicable laws, Federal regulations, and grant terms.
We found that an oil and gas company used natural gas from a Federal lease to power cryptocurrency mining operations without authorization.
