David Jiricek (D) has been called up to the show and will join the #Flyers in their playoff push.

The 2022 6th overall pick is a point-per-game player with Lehigh Valley since being acquired in the Bobby Brink trade: 13 GP, 2 G, 11 A, 13 PTS

Jiricek has 13 PTS (2 G, 11 A) in 84 NHL games with Columbus and Minnesota.

He could potentially get into the lineup for Game 82 if the #Flyers are in a great spot on Tuesday.

The #Flyers have sent Emil Andrae, one of their best defensemen this year, down to the AHL.

Andrae's presence in the lineup helped turn the team around in November and then he was unexplainably scratched for three straight games before last night.

The team is 12-8-4 with him in the lineup and 3-9-1 without him. They might be unserious about winning games.

Coincidence or not, he has gotten the job done, and really has filled a major void for the orange and black.

He appears to be the real deal, at the very least a top 4 pairing defenseman moving forward.
