A mother, sharing my story of my sonโs life. Iโve been thrown into a world I knew nothing about and have learned the painful consequences of silence of Suicide.
Mental health needs to focus on prevention, not just treatment. Prevention looks like: getting enough sun, eating nutrient dense food, building healthy relationships, and learning how to regulate your nervous system.
@soul_manic I think therapy, reading and learning about mental health is extremely important. Also, keeping in a healthy environment and surrounded by family and friends that make you laugh. ๐
Is there anyone I may be able to assist with suicide behaviors questionnaire? My son took his own life 7 years ago at the age of 16. I have also struggled with my own mental health as well. In hope I can help others in need! #suicide#StopSuicide#teensuicide#mentalhealth
@RachelGriffCA @GrapGrief Yes, thereโs nothing happy about grieving. Itโs a day to recognize the time it takes to heal from loss and is a reminder closure comes in many forms. When a loved one dies, the void they leave affects everyone differently. Grieving is a life-time healing process.
Today is #NationalGriefAwarenessDay. Grief is your response to any loss in life. Each person experiences grief in their own way and it's important to let people know how vital their grief is during this journey. ๐๐
