Victor Davis Hanson tells Megyn Kelly to her face the damage Tucker Carlson, MTG, and Thomas Massie are doing to the Republican Party by wanting Trump impeached and supporting Abdul El-Sayed, and the lasting effects their toxic influence is going to have in 2028.
Wake Up to Guitar Greatness
Today's Pick: Tommy Emmanuel - "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (Music Gone Public)
One of only five players Chet Atkins ever named a Certified Guitar Player, and it's all one man, ten fingers, no overdubs.
You can now explore the entire US with 1-meter 3D LiDAR data!
I rebuilt my USGS elevation viewer so you can search any address, zoom all the way into the terrain, and slide between LiDAR and satellite imagery.
The detail is incredible. You can pick out riverbeds, ridgelines, old roads, drainage patterns, and terrain completely hidden by trees.

We did in six weeks what 250 full-time employees couldn't do — and AI is the reason why. This is an honest conversation about AI, jobs, and why the people who lose their jobs won't lose them to a machine.
Warning: This Carl Sagan explaination has caused existential crises.
He explains how 5th dimensional beings perceive 3D creatures, and the implications are so disturbing, I paused it three times.
He said:
A being from the 5th dimension could reach into your locked house, take an object off your kitchen table, and place it in orbit around Jupiter without ever crossing a wall, a door, or the vacuum of space.
People ridiculed when Carl Sagan said this.
But, he was walking through the cleanest piece of geometric logic in modern physics, and most people who watched it never realized what he actually gave them.
The demonstration starts small.
Imagine a flat creature living on a sheet of paper. Its entire universe is length and width. It has no concept of "up" because up doesn't exist in its world. The direction is literally unthinkable to its nervous system.
Now take a three-dimensional apple and push it slowly through the paper.
What does the flat creature see?
A dot appears from nowhere. The dot expands into a circle. The circle grows, shrinks, then collapses back into nothing. The apple was always whole. The flatlander only ever perceived cross-sections of something its dimensions could not contain.
That's the entire trick.
Sagan's move was to rotate the analogy upward and let you feel the vertigo yourself.
You are the flatlander. Your body, your brain, your sensory apparatus evolved to process three spatial dimensions and one directional slice of time.
Anything existing in a higher dimension would pass through your world the same way that apple passed through the paper. As fragments, apparitions, sudden appearances, inexplicable disappearances.
A 4D being could see every organ in your body simultaneously from the outside, the way you can see every room of a dollhouse at once from above.
A 5D being could observe your entire lifetime from every version of you from infant to corpse like a single unmoving sculpture stretched across time.
What's interesting is it's a direct consequence of how dimensions mathematically nest inside one another.
Every dimension has full access to the interior of the one below it. A 3D hand can touch any point inside a 2D square without crossing its edges. A 4D hand could touch any point inside your sealed body without breaking your skin.
Sagan has really handed us a quiet reframe of every "impossible" phenomenon humans have reported for thousands of years like visions, presences, objects moving through walls, beings that seem to know your past and future.
Though his Geometry doesn't confirm any of it. But it removes the argument that such things would violate physics.
Troy Stetina wrote the guitar technique books that taught a generation of metal players how to shred.
Here's the teacher himself, tearing through a Christmas medley. Turns out he can more than back it up.
Our latest Real History episode about Civil Rights is closing in on 1 million views. We've posted four episodes on YouTube, averaging about 1.8 million views per. I'm calling this our anti-slop strategy. Long, dense informative content. And it's working.

I don't dislike Nolan, but the way he gets glazed for his visuals when stuff like this was getting made in 1985. Odyssey is like a League One football match, and this is a Champions League final.
This person, a man, a confirmed man, has played in the WNBA for 11 seasons.
She was open about having her breasts removed, and "gender reassignment surgery." Then she publicly said she is now 100% man.
Why did the crooked @WNBA allow him to play in league for 11 years?
Why are some men like Layshia Clarendon and Brittney Griner allowed to play in the #WNBA but not Enos Kanter Freedom or Royce White?
Answer: The @WNBA is 100% corrupt.
Quentin Tarantino just got paid over $20 million for a $200 million movie he refuses to direct. And he still owns the script.
He's spent 20 years telling everyone he retires after his 10th film. Cliff Booth was on track to be number 10. He decided a sequel wasn't how he wanted to go out, so instead of selling the screenplay, he sold Netflix a one-picture license. Netflix gets to make the movie once. Tarantino keeps the underlying work forever.
Then one decision moved the whole $200 million. Tarantino was originally going to direct this at Sony, the studio that turned the first film's $90 million budget into $377 million and 10 Oscar nominations. When he stepped back, Brad Pitt called David Fincher, his director on Se7en, Fight Club, and Benjamin Button. Fincher only makes movies for Netflix. So the project followed him there, and Sony watched the sequel to its biggest original hit of the era walk out the door.
The above-the-line math is wild. Pitt is making $40 million to star and produce. Fincher gets $20 million. Tarantino's license came in over $20 million. That's $80 million to three names before a single frame was shot, 40% of the entire budget.
The first movie cost $90 million total.
So the director who spent his whole career preaching 35mm and packed theaters just wrote the most expensive streaming film of the year. It gets an IMAX window, then lives on Netflix forever.
Tarantino found the loophole in his own retirement. He collects the biggest script payday of his career, and the movie doesn't even count.
An apt day to remember that Dolly Parton once recorded a cover of Stairway to Heaven - and, in defiance of every moral law in the universe, she absolutely owned it.
