Nepal Flood Triggers Flood Alert in Bihar

The devastating Bhote Koshi flood has raised a serious flood threat in Bihar, as the river enters the state as the Gandak.

With water levels rising rapidly due to heavy inflow from Nepal, Bihar authorities have stepped up preparedness, ordering 24-hour monitoring of rivers and embankments and keeping rescue teams ready.

The Water Resources Department has also ordered all gates of the Valmikinagar Gandak Barrage to be opened and water released into connected canals.

महाराष्ट्र FDA आयुक्त @Tukaram_IndIAS ने गणेशोत्सव की पृष्ठभूमि में ‘महाप्रसाद’ और ‘भंडारा’ का विशेष उल्लेख करते हुए कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है। यदि खाद्य सुरक्षा के नियम लागू करने हैं, तो वे बकरी ईद, रमजान ईद, इफ्तार, क्रिसमस, गुड फ्राइडे सहित सभी धर्मों के त्योहारों में होने वाले अन्न वितरण पर भी समान रूप से लागू होने चाहिए।

भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 14 के अनुसार कानून सभी के लिए समान है, जबकि अनुच्छेद 15 के अनुसार धर्म के आधार पर भेदभाव नहीं किया जा सकता। फिर केवल हिंदुओं के महाप्रसाद और भंडारे पर ही सख्त कार्रवाई की भाषा क्यों?

जनता को खाद्य गुणवत्ता का पाठ पढ़ाने वाले प्रशासन को सबसे पहले मंत्रालय, विधायक निवास, विधान भवन और सरकारी कैंटीन में भोजन की गुणवत्ता की जांच कर उसकी रिपोर्ट सार्वजनिक करनी चाहिए।

हिंदू मंदिरों, गणेशोत्सव एवं नवरात्रि के सार्वजनिक मंडलों को लाइसेंस के नाम पर परेशान न किया जाए और अन्नदान की सेवाभावी प्रक्रिया में बाधा न डाली जाए, ऐसी मांग हिंदू जनजागृति समिति के महाराष्ट्र एवं छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य संगठक @SG_HJS ने की है।
