i love that genshin has introduced so many people to chinese opera, so i want to tell you all a bit more about it ! yunjin’s character is heavily influenced by chinese opera, an art form that is over 900 years old. in chinese we call it 戏曲 xiqu (cont-)

i just find it so strange how only east asian singers or celebrities, more so korean people are treated this way 😬😬😬 and i’ve noticed a lot of white kpop fans use kpop idols as ‘aesthetics’ for role playing or smth… as if they aren’t real people

the kpop community dehumanises, infantilises and generalises korean people and also east asians in general so much; i’ve seen ppl baby grown men, call other east asians ‘korean idols’, treat kpop idols like objects and dehumanise them to the point where it’s acceptable to bully-

them and harass other idols they aren’t fans of?? like in what world is it okay to send mass hate to random people just because their music outsold your favourite band? are kpop idols just objects to you guys?
