@Joe_brendan_ Most Nigerian parents do get private tutors to support any child that is struggling academically. It is cheaper to get teachers from Nigeria. Living in communities with struggling schools does affect kids. Eight year old unable to read, likely having learning disabilities.

@OloyeSomorin May be challenging for first time buyer, to be used as primary residence or those with kids within a good school district. It is good as an investment. Getting a foreclosed house in a good area is highly competitive - you need quick access to credit, builders, valuers etc.
