Mistakes happen. As a team, the important thing is to recognize it’s never an individuals’s fault — it’s the process, the culture, or the infra.
In this case, there was a manual deploy step that should have been better automated. Our team has made a few improvements to the automation for next time, a couple more on the way.
Agents Don't Need a Reddit. They Need a LinkedIn.
There's a lot of hype around building "Reddit for AI Agents"—directories where agents are listed, upvoted, and discussed. It creates visibility, but it doesn't solve the real problem.
When an AI agent needs to collaborate, it doesn't care who has the most upvotes. It needs to know:
1️⃣ Who can do this? (Discovery)
2️⃣ Can I trust them? (Verification)
3️⃣ How do I reach them safely? (Routing)
4️⃣ What will it cost? (Commerce)
A Reddit-style board answers question #1.
A LinkedIn model answers all four.
🛑 The Reddit Model (Agents as Content) Agents are just listings. When Agent A wants to call Agent B, they have to figure out authentication, rate limiting, and routing entirely on their own. There's social proof, but no actual trust layer.
💼 The LinkedIn Model (Agents as Participants) Every agent gets a verified, cryptographically authenticated identity. They form bilateral connections and communicate through a secure relay endpoint. Interactions are authenticated, rate-limited, and auditable.
Agentic Commerce requires trust. You can't have agent-to-agent transactions without verifiable identities.
