Now, when someone like that book reviewer condemns “Hindutva” for “glorifying jauhar,” I am fully on their side. I agree it was a morbid ritual that does not belong in a civilized society, thank goodness we no longer do that. But do you see a pattern in the above lists?

Why do you think this macabre ritual was practiced EXCLUSIVELY in conflicts involving Muslim forces?

Why didn’t women feel the need to self-immolate when their kingdoms fell to any other adversary?

You can’t be dumb enough to not draw the only possible conclusion here.

Nobody glorifies jauhar, it was not picnic.

We “honor” it. No, not the immolation itself but the debilitating sentiment behind it. With the honor we keep our alive in our collective memory. Know why?

Because the demons that drove our ancestors to such extremities still live and breathe amongst us to this day.

And they haven’t changed one bit.

आप ऑप्रेस्ड हैं, दलित हैं, पीड़ित हैं और आप सड़कों पर आने की धमकी भी दे देते हैं, ये विरोधाभास कैसे बाँच लेते हैं आप?

और हाँ, आपके चाहने, न चाहने से कुछ नहीं होता। घर में टीवी है तो एकाध बार डिबेट देखिए कि ‘चर्चा’ किस विषय पर हो रही है। और @JPNadda जी आरक्षण पर सोच रहे हैं या नहीं, यह भी आपको पता चल जाएगा।

वैसे यह भी ठीक है कि जब आपको ही ‘चर्चा’ और ‘समीक्षा’ का नहीं पता, तो जिन्हें आप सड़कों पर लाना चाह रहे हैं, वो कितना ही समझ पाएँगे। आपकी जाति SC का सबसे बड़ा हिस्सा ले जाती है। पासवान, चमार, धोबी और पासी 95% आरक्षण ले रहे हैं।

तो देखिए, युवा बिहारी @iChiragPaswan जी, चर्चा तो आरंभ हो चुकी है और @BJP4India ने एक कदम आधिकारिक रूप में बढ़ाया है, एक कदम अनाधिकारिक रूप से अन्य लोगों से रीच आउट कर के।

आप ‘बिहारी फर्स्ट’ की बात करते थे, ये अचानक से माफिया की भाषा क्यों बोल रहे हैं। आप तो मोदी जी के हनुमान हैं, मोदी जी पर विश्वास रखिए। वो चर्चा करवा रहे हैं, वरना आपको लगता है कि अनिल बेलूनी जी की कृपादृष्टि के बिना कोई भी टॉपिक चर्चा में आ सकता है?

गेम समझिए। परिस्थिति बदल रही है। महबूबा ने भी धमकी दी थी। वीपी सिंह को भी लगा था कि वो अनंत काल पीएम रहेगा। जनता से उसी पार्टी को चुना जिसके नेता ने संसद में खड़े हो कर ओबीसी आरक्षण का विरोध किया था।

नेहरू ने OBC को 1955 में ही कोटा देने का विरोध किया था। 1961 में मुख्यमंत्रियों को लिखे पत्र में नेहरू ने आरक्षण का विरोध किया था। पर वो लगातार चुनाव जीतते रहे। तो ऐसा तो है नहीं कि यदि @narendramodi आज इस पर समीक्षा करें, और वह चुनाव हार जाएँगे!

संभव है कि सवर्ण और अनरिप्रेजेंटेड ओबीसी, एससी एकमुश्त वोट दे दे! इसीलिए, चर्चा और समीक्षा दोनों हो रही है, और हम रिफॉर्म भी करवा लेंगे।

I have a question.

Why are there no SC/ST and OBC reservations in Aligarh Muslim University?

AMU is a public, centrally funded university. It is funded by taxes paid by public.

So why are Dalit leaders like Ramdas Athawale, Mayawati, Chandrashekhar Azad and Chirag Paswan silent on this?

Why are their lips sealed when it comes to AMU?
