Being a “nice guy” will eventually cost you your mental health.
Give people a yard and they’ll take a mile.
That’s why I’ve unapologetically placed a value on my time and energy.
My only focus is being a good person, I do not exist to please anyone else.
You're not Mr. Nice Guy. You're just a broken adult who felt lonely as a child, even within his own family. You grew up in a home where your parents were disconnected from themselves, unable to love, support, and nurture you in the healthy way you needed as a little boy.
So you were left with a hole in your soul. An emptiness. A void that you have been trying to fill ever since. You grew up seeking a woman to fill that void. You poured yourself into relationships, not because you were secure, but because you were desperate. You confused intensity with intimacy. You mistook anxiety for passion. You gave too much, too fast, because you were terrified of being abandoned again.
But the love from a woman will never be enough to fill the emptiness in your inner child. Because that emptiness was never about her. It was about the love you didn't receive when you needed it most.
So you sabotage relationships. You overthink, you cling, you panic. The truth is, no woman can fix what was broken in your childhood.
Sometimes just a bit of luck is needed.
Not being the best or getting right.
That thing is just called grace - A divine touch to something you less qualified for.
@TechnicalBben I'm in the middleof deciding either to go for customer success & Technical account management or chase the Ai Automation trend. I'm 32 and right now I'm fighting for sustantance.
I know ot would require time and patience.
What would you advice Technical Ben
My favorite author Robert Kiyosaki pointed out in his book Rich Dad Poor Dad that many of us were raised to believe, "Go to school, get good grades, and find a safe, secure job."
That advice worked for a different era, but today's world changes too fast for any one skill or career to guarantee success.
Tech isn't the finish line. It's just another tool. The real advantage is your ability to keep learning, adapting, and creating value.
and just so you know, Skills expire. Learning doesn't...
