@realkenokonkwo Mr. Kenneth, you will be the Prodigal Son who was rejected when he came crawling back home. You must be treated as an OUTCAST that you are.
@officialABAT Feedback from Nigerians to this post is, refreshing and most encouraging. The bigger question is translating the angst to bear on Election Day 2027
Even a broken clock is correct twice in a day. We are not angry enough. Is it until the Terrorists begin to release pictures and videos of them killing these children? The Teacher that was beheaded is not upsetting enough?
Nigerians should shut down the Country already until the children are released. We are using Oyo as a reference point but we are also aware of the incidents in Borno, Zamfara, Katsina, Niger, & Kwara State that are of equal weight and concern.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
Nigerians are divided into three categories. The Ruiners, The Enablers and the Victims. The irony is that, the Enablers don’t realize they’re also victims who have allowed themselves to be used by the Ruiners for some paltry gains.
As victims, let’s be clear about our Targets. Those effectively saddled with the responsibility of securing our lives and improving our welfare. Our anger at their failures should reflect in our votes. Or perhaps, we are faking the anger and as we are wont to do, suffering and smiling.
Dear Uche, as valid as your response is, it should not be the central point at this time. We can revisit the role Religious Leaders play in helping to build a decent society at another time but we have a government in office now and Nigerians are dying in thousands. We need to take ownership of our future and determine how we should be governed instead of deflecting and channeling the energy towards targets that will not be part of that future.
