Imagine saying this when ppl have lost all their food, have damage to their homes, and are dangerously trapped inside with zero heat in winter. I know someone who couldn’t get dialysis & had to call 911 so they wouldn’t die. So gross for a news reporter to say. 🫠

@dgodin1234 @thewrightpage Yeh that’s not what the situation is here in Cape Breton. Try roof caving in, no power or heat in the cold, all your food gone rotten. Being dangerously trapped. This isn’t a snow day it’s an emergency.

@thewrightpage Yep this def makes me mad! I’ve been *physically trapped* inside since Friday with my toddler. No power - temp is 13 degrees - my fridge full of food is gone bad now. My pipes may burst. We are in a state of emergency in Cape Breton - people can’t get to their dialysis or chemo.
