Lena wanted to let the world know that PSSD and Benzo damage was the reason for her suicide.
Her death is an absolute tragedy and was preventable if she had been given informed consent about the risk of SSRIS and Benzos.

@BlackshepSusan Obviously not. In fact, I was told that since mine were prescribed off label in low doses that I wouldn’t have any problems at all. Guess what? I’m now permanently handicapped with medication-induced dystonia and a host of other permanent neurological damage.

I am disabled with muscular dystrophy on a limited income (yes, I work). I have a daughter attending community college, working full time and living at home. I also hold a graduate degree. Our rent keeps going up to the point where neither one of us can afford to stay where we are or qualify ANYWHERE else for housing in this entire state. She can't afford to move out on her own and I can't afford to live alone and we can't even afford to get a place together!

All rentals demand at least 2.5x and typically 3x the rent in income to qualify. For us, that means we must earn at the very least $5450-$6000/month just to rent a dumpy, rundown, bottom-of-the-barrel 2 bedroom apartment. There is no section 8 or rent assist programs and hasn't been since Hickenlooper took office. We literally have no place to go.

Raising property taxes effects way more than just the "uber rich" and trickles down to people like me and my daughter who are normal, everyday people, especially when that money goes to things like constructing a train so rich people in resort towns can travel to Denver. They money never comes back to us but instead goes to absurd progressive "green" schemes and progressive school programs that bear no fruit. You simply cannot gouge the people of Colorado any more than you already are. In the name of all that is holy, have mercy.

@CovidSolidarit1 Hard disagree. Those words are longstanding, widely understood & commonly used in the chronic illness community. Those words def have meaning. With disability, there is ALWAYS work to be done to educate the public, but I hesitate to embrace rearranging disability vocab needlessly
