@_Healthyorg Wonderful, just wonderful! I worked as an animator starting in 1985 and I dearly love the creativity - and good information - in this piece. Great work!
@NewsHour I used to have to fight my conscience at the grocery checkout, with all those lovely candy bars on display. Not anymore. All that fake chocolate and HFCS does not even tempt me. Hershey bars used to be great.
@stule@BrandonStraka@Lindt I used to have to fight myself at the grocery checkout where all the candy bars are displayed. Not for years now. They are appealing as dirt.
"Nothing But Blackened Teeth" by Cassandra Khaw #AudibleApp https://t.co/Tpuj1gSGPN Amazingly good story, well told with a strong sophisticated twist. I am appalled at the mediocre reviews on audible. This book is stellar. I have listened to it twice now and bought the kindle.
@Destructor_031@RachidMokh60625@histories_arch I was in college in the 1980s and watched the Hope Scholarship people flunk out quarter by quarter - unable to do the work. Too many hs teachers pushed college and so many kids just couldn’t do it.
@FrameJonat30727@archeohistories “Michael Fay was arrested for stealing road signs and vandalizing 18 cars over a ten-day period in September 1993. Fay pled guilty, but he later claimed that he was advised that such a plea would preclude caning. “It did not.
@vfine91350@IndependenceBOR@FrameJonat30727@archeohistories I keenly remember the signs all over that area many years ago, in many different languages, that read “Drugs = Death” with a skull photo at the top. If you were caught with drugs, your sentence was death, no arguments. It really fixed the drug problems. I wonder if they still do.

@Ak_studio1 I am just amazed by these - I think this is my favorite. The delicate move of hair on the ears and the solid stare of the eyes with small movements of watchfulness ... I am just loving this. I started animating when Money for Nothing was the brilliant piece so, yeah, just amazed.
