the best part is this novel is fujimoto coded. it'a about a girl obsessed with slasher films that she processes her tragic life through horror movie tropes and assigns character roles to people in her life. she is unable to see herself as the final girl bc she isnt "pure enough"

realistically i think it might take them a while to get involved bc they both got shit they need to sort out first both individually and together. slow burn shit that would last past graduation but then there's the post-graduation hurdles so it stays difficult...

actually unsure if graves and apollo would be the type to either unintentionally and gradually fall into a relationship without ever actually verbalizing it or if apollo does actually make the effort of proper courtship. or maybe some weird ass combo of the both
