@CarterCorpse Any film is better at the movies. At least this made it more momentous for people I suppose and let it stick around in memory for longer.
United Kingdom was the only one of the Five Eyes which never had a reckoning for the abuses of the intelligence services in the 1970s. The problem festered there, and has created all sorts of unique political diseases which exist nowhere else.
PROPOSAL - instead of banning the traditional Sikh dagger legalise all traditional ethnic daggers BUT you are only allowed to carry the traditional ethnic dagger of your own ethnicity
Some time July, the US will reach tank bottom with the SPR. This will have either happened already or will happen shortly for Japan as well. This will mean China, in addition to the 2mm bpd it already cut, will have to cut imports by another 80% to prevent a global shortage
there was a good enough reason to do it in 2008 when the economy wasn't as decoupled, but at this point the US and EU are willing to kill themselves out of some inane, seething resentment. Very little reason not to just let them die in their rage at this point
You begin to sympathize with how Russians felt when their subsidizing the Eastern Bloc was met with Nationalist parties telling them to piss off when the PRC has done nothing other than bail the US out only to be met with more harebrained schemes by the US on how to destroy them
But progress is possible by changing the approach to BiH and modernizing policy talking points, drawing on examples like Belgium, after long-term tensions. That is the way to reduce stress on voters and lessen what I define “ethnic group capture” by current political leaders. 9/9
Because three entities already exist in every way, though with limited governance powers. BiH needs an integrative political force between two extremes that dominate the system and hold it hostage. You will never overcome these extremes with OFAC sanctions lists. 8/9
Now, a realistic option is either a three-federal-unit BiH or two mega-cantons within the FBiH. You labeled this “awful” without any justification. Yet your predecessors, Zimmermann, Montgomery, and Petritsch, also rejected it, but later reconsidered. Why? 7/9
(2) Institutional power-sharing: three constituent peoples in two distinct entities. It functioned until, in the late 1990s, your colleagues began promoting (3) unitarist nation-building, whose consequences are visible today. As a result, BiH is now facing centrifugal forces. 6/9
(1) Partition. Amb. Zimmermann blocked the 1992 Cutileiro Plan, though he later admitted it was a good proposal. In 1993 and 1995, U.S. officials saw no solution and proposed “that the Serbs could hold a referendum on secession.” But Croatia’s Operation Storm saved BiH. 5/9
@FearMongrel I loved the interactivity. But it was a funny bit of emergent gameplay where there was so much meat covering the floor and cockroaches running around that it was flung up and destroyed the speaker, letting me see that path. Are the additional meat variety's for the secrets?
@FearMongrel Finished the demo with 2/5 secrets... I was overthinking it and had every meat variety before I managed to get past Horse lol. Very simple game so far that has a 10/10 vibe/atmosphere and aesthetic.
