@ExplotionHK@cmgraham722@AOC It's a 90's stereotype. Today, 2 minimum wages are not enough to buy even the basic food basket in Argentina. Money devaluates and salaries are not raised. Many families make it to the end of the month because people help each other out, and that is both generous and humbling.
The Peter Moss intervention at the conference I'm attending was inspiring: Neo liberalism should not be a precursor to Early Childhood Education Best Practices. 2022 Bright Start International Conference: Early Years Excellence in Practice #brightstartconference.
Reading through this e-book this morning, it isn't revolutionary, but it has some solid resources and reminders of practices we all know about but are often too rushed to be intentional about. https://t.co/rMHmTzTfFQ
@MrCharleston1@Juanmjh1 Gracia por aclararlo para todos, porque aunque OP dice saberlo, su analogia no lo demuestra. Mucha gente sabe lo que fue el corralito en Argentina y las dos cosas no tienen NADA que ver. NADA.
Are we living in a simulation? Or merely in an increasingly bizarre spectacle? This weekly Stripe explores the idea that reality might not be what it seems.
@doctorjenn@doctorjenn I have severe and crippling eczema, I have tried all types of masks, the only thing I can wear is the welder mask, and after two months of seeing the world deformed and blurry I am starting to get headaches. My doctor here in Spain has written an exemption letter.
An in-depth and thought provoking text. The pluridisciplinary outlook on life under the Covid-19 siege is a welcome change in a sea of quasi-identical articles on the topic.
"To study epidemics is to study the structure and governing rules of societies, reconstructing a shape through its shadows." This excellent piece by @cyrilmaury offers some welcome perspective on our current reality

@Writer_DG Word @Writer_DG! In fact as @gaelbill, surely knows, in lowercase the spelling is actually "je suis prêt". Many words with latin roots in other languages kept an s before the t, now have an ê in French: Fiesta in Spanish => fête; testa in Italian=> tête; Host in English => hôte
@SamHeughan@Outlander_STARZ Just finished! Outlander must have a huge following in Spain because the streaming app kept crashing at 22h05 when it was released, had to wait an extra half an hour... Totally worth it!
@KristinaKuzmic Maybe we could also start thinking about the use of the word hate and how wielding it at people who think differently than us can make things worse. Instead of "simply" hating on racism and injustice, we could try to understand how they take root https://t.co/vCs3PGlioy
@anjthehammer Hey there! I am an early childhood education about to move to the UK, I follow many educators from there because of all the great resorces you share. I have noticed that over the last six months or more, many of you are venting, frustrated and upset. What is going on over there?
