@GBHockeyFuture It's my pleasure, I could tell you couldn't grasp it. Why would a player think he can sign a contract taking a valuable Brit spot, not perform, not fight for a spot & then down tools & walk away?! We invested in him, so why shouldn't we look to trade or get something in return?

@GBHockeyFuture there'd be competition & players wanting to step up, hence all the players we have on 2 ways with the Dogs. The same goes for other players on our roster; there'll be other Dogs players fighting to earn a Steelers spot. Fight & earn your place, instead of walking away.

@GBHockeyFuture Eh, what are you on about?! I didn't say he was on a 2 way or a Dogs player! My point is that he's obviously not impressed in training or in games to warrant ice time or even a roster spot & we've got the luxury of being able to look elsewhere ie Dogs. He would have known...

Players should earn their ice time - if someone is chosen ahead of you, rise to the challenge, put the effort in & earn that spot back. Don't seemingly sulk and walk away.

@_PeterSpencer Logan will have been aware of the organisational setup (ie Steeldogs & 2 way deals), & with that comes, what I think, is healthy competition for roster space. As a pro, surely, if you struggle to cement your place, you knuckle down & compete for your place & not just walk away.

@Daniel281240271 @fifer70 @steelershockey Yes, I agree. However, all those forwards are our 3rd/4th liners & we're depending on them to get us through games (add Simpson in there as a standout too). We're not getting the productivity from those that are supposed to be our 1st & 2nd lines (Balmas, Leavens etc).

Dowd gets pushed in to the NM, Hanson goes after & squares up to Dowd, but then seemingly has no idea how to back up his actions!

@KarlSeed29 @Mcr_Storm I'm a Steelers fan & I agree with this - he was excellent! Does he always play with a big grin? I couldn't tell if he was on the wind up or he was just enjoying himself! He seemed to get lots of respect from our guys too - I noticed a few friendly (I think!) chats between plays.
