Mat Ishbia SHUTS DOWN any talk about the Suns trading Devin Booker 🙌
"[He] is going to lead us to a championship here in Phoenix... I'll ride into a fire with Devin Booker, and I'll do it proudly."
Devin Booker WENT OFF in his postgame interview about the officiating in tonight’s game vs OKC:
"It's definitely something that has to be looked into. I heard Caruso tell them to call the tech and he ended up doing it. In my 11 years, I haven't called a ref out by name, but James [Williams] was terrible tonight, through and through. It's bad for the sport, bad for the integrity of the sport. People are going to start viewing this as the WWE if they're not held responsible."
"I know I haven't won a championship in this league but I have been in it for 11 years now, so to get to this point to be treated like that, for me to even be saying something out loud... It's bad.
"It's my first time in 11 years but it's needed. Whatever, I get fined for it, everybody can pull the clips and see where the frustration comes from."
I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.
I had to put this all in one video to make it even clearer — The NBA has an OKC Thunder problem.
The fans know it, broadcasters know it. THEY know they’re favored. When EVERYONE complains about ONE team, it’s serious. It’s not just SGA, he’s just the head of the snake.
I’m not a “blame the refs” type, never have been. I actually hate when players focus too much on that. But this just makes for an unbearable product.
The Thunder are EXTREMELY good. They don’t need extra help. They don’t need to be rewarded for their antics. A lot of it is an affront to the game. The physicality they play with needs to be allowed both ways or not at all.
This is all from one game, but it’s every night against them. It looks and feels blatant. This isn’t basketball. The NBA needs to fix this.
Change of heart: @TomPelissero hears that Maxx Crosby “told everybody ‘I’m all in, I’m a Raider’” at the team facility the day after the Ravens trade was voided
“He was back in the building (Wednesday) working out, rehabbing. He spoke with Klint Kubiak, he spoke with John Spytek, he spoke with Mark Davis. He told everybody, ‘I’m all in. I’m a Raider. I’m going to be here and I’m going to keep doing everything I’ve been doing to be the best player for this organization.’”
Crosby reaffirmed his commitment to staying in Vegas that night on social media.
“You can never rule out that there’s another twist in the saga,” Pelissero says. “There are still teams that would trade for Maxx Crosby… We will know Maxx Crosby is a Raider again when we see Maxx Crosby wearing a #Raiders uniform in Week 1.”

#Raiders star Maxx Crosby, now back from Baltimore with the trade to the #Ravens off, is headed back into the building in Las Vegas, ready to resume his training and rehab program.
His mindset: Crosby is ready to play football for the #Raiders, ready to move forward.
Source: The Raiders will honor all the agreements they made with free agents—both their own and the incoming guys—over the last 48 hours, despite the stunning developments of last night.
All options remain in play with Maxx Crosby. Vegas is certainly very open to keeping him.
ESPN Sources: former Ravens free-agent center Tyler Linderbaum reached agreement today on a record deal with the Raiders, who are awarding him with a three-year, $81 million deal that includes $60 million guaranteed and makes him the highest paid interior offensive lineman in NFL history.
Mendoza, Jeanty, and Bowers is such a good young offensive corp. Just got to get some OL and hope Pete is either fired or retires so we can get a young offensive minded HC for Mendoza. Got the cap to do it. I’m so excited!!!
